Thought today I would share some pictures of Paul's beautiful sunflower field on our "farm." They are totally beautiful, and if we could get just a little more rain hundreds more would show their little faces.
I have been happily married for almost 25 years to my husband, Paul, and we have three sons, one who is 31 and married to a wonderful girl, one who is 28, and one who is almost 23. One son lives in Wadesboro, NC, one in Pinehurst, NC and the other is at Appalachian State in Boone, NC. We also have a surrogate daughter, (mid 30s)who lives in Apex, NC. We are soon to have our first grandbaby...a girl. You can imagine our excitement over being grandparents. My husband & I are semi-retired from our family owned business of forestry consulting, but we stay busy and active in our semi-retirement. We are in the process of building a new home, thus the reason for this blog! I hope you will enjoy following the progress on our home and maybe even find some useful information if you are planning to build.
