Here we go! Spencer taking the first scoop of dirt. Our new house is started!
How exciting to finally start the grading work. Tommy Vaughn's crew (Vaughn Contracting) has been out in full force grading the back area and digging out for the basement. We are thrilled to have finally begun construction!
(Note: Blogsite date is 4/23/09 but the digging actually began 3/11/09. I didn't have the blogsite set up on 3/11 so these pictures were posted on FB and added to my blogsite at a later date.)
